Part of why this video struck a chord this morning was an email I received yesterday asking if I wanted to participate in on pizza. You'd think, "Sweet, free pizza and I get paid." Taste, availability, etc. I would assume would be on the menu.
The form to indicate interest in participating in said focus group, also asked for, in addition to age and gender, race. Why they gotta know my race for me to answer questions about pizza? Why is the corporate/capitalist mindset inherently interested in categorizing us by these kind of divisive sub-groups?
